Nokia has released the launch date for its new Symbian smart phone the Nokia N8. The Nokia online show will be selling the phone during the last week of september and appear in the UK's physical stores by October 1st.
The Nokia N8 includes a 3.5 inch, 649x399 pixel capacitive touchscreen. The mobile has a reasonable 16 GB of storage memory and also boasts a massive 12 mega pixel camera with flash and Full HD. The camera is very impressive making it just as good as most digital cameras in the mid range market.
The 680 MHz ARM 11 CPU and 256 MB of SDRAM memory are lagging behind some of the latest smart phones on paper. The Samsung galaxy S for example runs at 1Ghz but also has a GPU supporting it. We shouldn't forget there biggest selling point is the camera which is simple amazing. Nokia recently hired actors Pamela Anderson and Ed Westwick to film with two lucky fans a short movie that was recorded fully on the Nokia N8.
The device will be priced at £429 or with contracts starting at £35 per month.
